Family Day

I love the freedom my business' give me. Since I make my own schedule we use Tuesdays as our family day to get out of the house and do something fun. Living in South Florida and now in Central Florida, everyday there are so many people out and about especially on the weekends. It's hard to have some family fun without being shoulder to shoulder in line for an activity, waiting in a long line to check out at a store, or put your name on an hour wait list to get some lunch. That is how it is when you live in a vacation destination.

We have found that Tuesdays seem to be less crowded everywhere we go. We like to walk the outlets and shop with no crowds and no lines. We get seated right away when we go to lunch and we find the staff more attentive and accommodating. We still get out on the weekends but we like to do more low key family activities like taking Kingston to a local park or browse a nearby farmers market and support the local businesses.

We are planning to do some activities with Kingston on our Family Day like visit the Crayola Factory or an indoor playground. We also get to take advantage of living in this beautiful vacation spot and get to snag some great reservations to do special lunches at T-Rex Cafe at Disney Springs and Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort in Disney.

Whatever we do its always filled with family fun and I would never get to treat my family on a Tuesday if I didn't take a chance on myself and start these businesses. Do any of my other full time families use a weekday like a weeked for your family fun?
